DIRECTORATE CHANGE

Stanley Gibbons announces that Paul Fraser is stepping aside today as Chairman and Director of the Company, as previously announced, but will continue as a consultant to the Company, at least until April 2008. After several months of discussions with fellow Directors, it has been agreed that, after the release of the excellent Interim results earlier today, this would be an opportune moment for Mr Fraser to step down with a strong strategy for growth firmly in place.

With immediate effect Bob Henkhuzens, currently a Non-Executive Director of the Company, will become Interim Chairman until a new Chairman is appointed.

Bob Henkhuzens said,

'Paul has been Chairman of Stanley Gibbons since its introduction to AIM in September 2000 and has been involved in the Stanley Gibbons business since 1989. The Board wishes to thank him for his invaluable contribution to the Company's successful growth and development, particularly over the last seven years. Paul's continued support as consultant is much appreciated'.
